Who we are

mensching plus ("m+") provide sophisticated accounting, tax, compliance and audit services for investments in German real estate and assets of a similar nature (e.g. wind energy parks and photo voltaic plants).

 The m+ group consists of the following companies:

• mensching plus Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, Hamburg;
• mensching plus Audit GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Hamburg („m+ Audit“);
• mensching plus S. à r. l., Luxembourg („m+ Lux“).

m+ is owned by Oliver Mensching (chartered accountant, tax advisor and accredited specialist for international tax law) and Philipp Jebens (real estate lawyer), of which the reputable Chambers and Partners say that they "understand the real estate business perfectly well".

As many of our clients use Luxembourg as holding jurisdiction, m+ has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Luxembourg (m+ Lux) to ensure a seamless integration of cross-border tax, accountancy and compliance work for the real estate and fund industry.

m+ has a staff of approximately 45 specialised accountants and tax advisors (of which 3 in Luxembourg) and approximately EUR 10 bn. under service. We count many of the most reputable US- and UK-property investors among our clients.
Our staff include certified US-GAAP and IFRS-accountants as well as experienced financial modellers.
